Summary
Machine-generated summaryThe district of Emsland, as the body responsible for regional planning, intends to draw up a new edition of its Regional Spatial Planning Programme (RROP). The programme sets out the intended spatial and structural development of the district. The new edition will follow paragraph 13 of the Federal Spatial Planning Act and paragraph 5 of the Lower Saxony Spatial Planning Act. It is needed because the programme's provisions must be aligned with the Lower Saxony State Spatial Planning Programme of 2022 and its ongoing amendment, and because developments in the district require a comprehensive update of the 2010 programme that can only be achieved through a new edition. The district intends to award preparation of the programme to a qualified external contractor, and is therefore procuring engineering and planning services.
