Summary

Machine-generated summary

Deutsche Bundesbank is procuring design and site supervision services for technical building services, service phases 2 to 3 and 5 to 8 under HOAI, for the renewal of the chiller at its Hannover Georgsplatz branch. The building complex, including the branch, is cooled by three refrigeration machines totalling 1,260 kW installed in the fourth basement level in 2003. The units suffer frequent faults and costly repairs, are around 30% oversized and about 25% less energy efficient than current reference standards. The project seeks natural refrigerant or one with low greenhouse gas potential, recovery of waste heat for building heating, and compliance with the Bundesbank's measurement and metering specifications. Stage-by-stage award is reserved and there is no legal right to further commissioning.
