Die Gemeinde Stechow - Ferchesar plant den Um- und Ausbau eines ehemaligen Schafstalls in Ferchesar zu einem multifunktionalen Gemeindezentrum. Ziel der Maßnahme ist die Schaffung eines barrierefreien, energieeffizienten und nutzungsflexiblen Versammlungs- und Veranstaltungsortes für die Dorfgemeinschaft. Das Gebäude soll künftig Raum bieten für kulturelle Veranstaltungen, Vereinsarbeit, Gemeinderatssitzungen, Bildungsangebote sowie soziale Begegnung. Die Außenanlagen werden so gestaltet, dass sie Aufenthaltsqualität bieten und die Einbindung in das Ortsbild stärken. Das Vergabeverfahren wird auf Grundlage einer öffentlich-rechtlichen Vereinbarung durch die Zentrale Vergabestelle des Landkreises Havelland durchgeführt.
