Summary

Machine-generated summary

Wismut GmbH at its Königstein remediation site needs design services for the repair of the Oxidationsgraben Nord, a biological sewage treatment plant built in the early 1970s for about 4,500 staff working in three shifts. The site cannot be connected to the public sewer network. The plant covers roughly 892.50 m² northeast of the new functional building taken into use in 2018 and treats sanitary wastewater through screening, aeration via two spiral aerators, a secondary settling tank and a measuring and control shaft. Its oval concrete basin has a foil lining damaged in several places; it was upgraded in 2001. The works are split into Lot 1 for structural engineering services and Lot 2 for technical equipment, and the existing treatment process must be preserved under the current permits.
