The Bau- und Liegenschaftsbetrieb NRW, Cologne branch, awarded a contract for construction-accompanying quality assurance during execution phase 8 (LPH 8) of the replacement new building E/P2 at the TH Cologne Campus Deutz. The service covers cost groups 440 to 470 (electrical and technical installations) across all trades. At defined stages of the construction schedule, the quality assurance provider checks the works trade by trade and documents progress in inspection reports. The aim is to detect defects early and minimise schedule, cost and quality risks arising from interfaces with the infrastructure project and follow-up construction phase 2 (buildings C and D).
