Summary

Machine-generated summary

DB InfraGO AG is seeking project insurance for its ScanMed Hamburg construction project, part of the DSD starter package for the Scandinavian-Mediterranean corridor. The project involves equipping the corridor with DStW technology and ETCS Level 2 without signals (L2oS), mainly in the Lüneburg network district. The investment totals EUR 496 million, of which about EUR 30 million has already been invoiced under an existing contract that this new insurance contract will replace. Combined construction, assembly and liability insurance is required, covering public liability with sums of EUR 25 million per claim plus separate design liability cover of EUR 10 million per claim, each triple aggregate. Extended maintenance is 42 months, with 10 years post-liability and 5 years environmental. Construction is planned until 31 August 2030.
