The package comprises hazardous substance remediation and demolition of building 4473, plus construction of three new buildings containing commercial use, a four-group daycare centre and residential use. Gross floor area is around 9,300 m2. The design and construction services are awarded as general contractor services based on a functional performance specification. Planning services cover architecture, structural engineering, building services, traffic and outdoor facilities planning, plus fire protection, building physics and other specialist planning. Maintenance services are also part of the award.
