MVV Gruene Waerme GmbH, a subsidiary of MVV Energie AG, plans to build and operate a river water heat pump system (WPA2) with a heating capacity of up to 165 MWth at the Grosskraftwerk Mannheim AG site in Mannheim-Neckarau. The contract covers design, construction and full technical equipping of a new transformer building for two 110 kV transformers, including civil and structural works, deep foundations, containment trays with an oil separator system, transformer boxes, lighting, cable protection pipes, a water spray fire extinguishing system in a container with foundations, plus commissioning and VdS acceptance coordination.
