Summary

Machine-generated summary

Hamburger Energienetze GmbH is building a hydrogen industrial network (HH-WIN) in southern Hamburg to supply the city's largest natural gas industry customers and support Hamburg's climate goals. The network will link industrial consumers, local producers, sea and pipeline imports, and users in the transport and mobility sectors, and is intended to enable a ramp-up of the hydrogen market beyond direct delivery contracts. Around 40 km of new pipes are to be laid by mid 2027, mainly within the road body (road, footpath and verges) as buried steel pipes with PE coating, installed predominantly in open trench. This seventh construction works tender covers five lots: section D.1 lots 3.1, 4.1 and 7, and section E.1 lots 3 and 4. Pipe diameters are DN 200, 300 or 500 depending on the section, operating at DP 25 or DP 70/84, carrying hydrogen.
