The Berliner Energie und Wärme GmbH (BEW) is procuring full administration of its occupational pension scheme (bAV). The services cover managing prospective pensioners, employees with vested benefits who have left, and pension recipients, including portfolio management, preparatory pension accounting, pension administration, pension equalisation on divorce, notifications and certificates, correspondence, pension adjustments, archiving and supplying data for annual accounts and auditor processes. The portfolios currently comprise several thousand future pensioners and pensioners across more than 20 pension schemes. The contract includes taking over existing administrative processes with an upstream transition and migration phase for knowledge transfer and data migration. Optional further administration and calculation services from separately managed schemes may be transferred during the term. The contract runs for four years with two extension options of two years each, up to eight years in total, with service start planned for the first half of 2027.
