Die Ludwig-Reinhard-Schule ist ein Förderzentrum für den Förderschwerpunkt geistige Entwicklung und Lernort für derzeit 172 Schüler*innen. Durch die intensive Hilfestellung sind hier fast 100 Pädagogen und Fachkräfte beschäftigt. Der gewachsene Bestandsbau kann in mehrere Gebäudeteile gegliedert werden: Bauteil West (Bj. 1967, dreigeschossig) wird kernsaniert und gegen Westen erweitert, Bauteil Südwest (Bj. 1987, zweigeschossig+KG) wird saniert, Bauteil Nordwest (Bj. 1967, eingeschossig) mit Kleinsporthalle und Aula werden abgebrochen und die Aula neu angebaut. Das Bauteil Nord (Bj. 2000, eingeschossig) bleibt von den Sanierungsmaßnahmen unberührt, beherbergt während der Bauzeit aber 3 Grundschulklassen als Interim. Der Neubau der 2-fach Sporthalle ist im Südosten des Grundstücks als freistehender Baukörper geplant. Der BRI des Bestands beträgt 18.535 m². Nach der Sanierung und Erweiterung inkl. Sporthalle 37.634 m². Totalabbruch Pausen- und Turnhalle ca. 3.400 m³ Totalabbruch Hausmeisterwohnung ca. 1.100 m³ Teilabbruch BT West/Ost: Abbruch Dachaufbau ca. 580 m² Abbruch Mauerwerk ca. 900 m³ Abbruch Fenster ca. 320 Stück Abbruch Türen ca. 100 Stück Abbruch Bodenbeläge ca. 1.700 m² Abbruch Abhangdecken ca. 1.400 m² einschl. Demontage HLS/ELT, Schadstoffsanierung Abbau Innenausbau Einbaumöbel, Küchen etc. Asbestsanierung Bodenfläche ca. 180 m²
