Summary

Machine-generated summary

The University of Southern Denmark (SDU) is procuring waste management and container rental services covering both existing and new waste types. The agreement aims at efficient, quality waste handling with a focus on sustainability and cost effectiveness. Bidders must explain how waste management will be organised across all SDU locations so it runs smoothly for staff and students. The service relies on systematic data collection and reporting on waste volumes and fractions, with data actively used to optimise capacity, emptying frequencies and logistics, reduce unnecessary transport and missed collections, and document treatment methods and recycling rates. The contract is divided into two lots: Lot 1 covers collection, handling and disposal of ordinary waste plus container rental; Lot 2 covers collection, handling and treatment of hazardous waste, including classification, packing, labelling and transport preparation, plus container and equipment rental. One supplier per lot.
