Summary

Machine-generated summary

The Danish Ministry of Defence Acquisition and Logistics Organisation (FMI) intends to conclude three framework agreements for the supply of medical products for emergency treatment. The three sub-agreements cover haemostatic bandages, tourniquets and chest seals. Haemostatic bandages are most often used together with ordinary compression bandages for severe bleeding, for example traumatic amputation of limbs or gunshot wounds. Tourniquets are used for manual bleeding control or stopping of bleeding, for example in patients with traumatic limb amputation. Chest seals are used for emergency treatment of patients with chest trauma and are applied as the first treatment of an open chest lesion. Detailed descriptions and areas of use appear in Annex 1, the requirements specification. Samples must be submitted with the tender.
