Summary

Machine-generated summary

SNCB is seeking an external service for prevention and protection at work (SEPPT) as required by Belgian law and the Well-being at Work Code. The provider will monitor staff health, including medical and psychological certificates under railway regulations, manage risks including formal psychosocial interventions, and carry out workplace visits and other services across the seven well-being domains defined by legislation. The focus is on the medical aspect, health surveillance, since about 80 percent of staff hold safety functions and about 50 percent hold railway safety functions. Certificates for railway safety roles such as train drivers may only be issued by a medical-psychological centre approved by the SSICF. Around 15,900 medical and psychological examinations are performed annually, including about 8,500 periodic and 2,900 special examinations, plus pre-employment and job-change examinations.
