NMBS Technics (Belgian railway company, Belgium) is procuring a GPS tracking service for the continued operation and further development of quasi real-time tracking of about 1,750 containers in Europe equipped with GPS trackers. The contract covers taking over existing GPS trackers including Sigfox/NB-IoT subscriptions, integration into a new backend, migration of existing data and metadata, and management of existing BLE sensors for temperature, humidity and fill level, including alert mechanisms. It also includes supply of new trackers and sensors with subscriptions, a web platform and mobile apps for visualisation, estimated annual equipment purchases, and the option to integrate sensor functions directly into the trackers.
