The City of Ghent is seeking a collective transport solution for employees of companies located at The Loop, aiming to improve accessibility of the western lobe, which is currently not served by public transport. The shuttle must seat at least 18 people and run on fixed routes and timetables, with two to three stops and a reservation system, during morning and evening peak hours on weekdays except public holidays. The operator uses as sustainable vehicles as possible, provides a digital booking system with real-time travel information, first-line advice, collects usage and user data, reports monthly and yearly, and promotes the service with the city. Companies pay for tickets.
