The City of Ghent awarded a contract for the cleaning of all parking ticket machines and of traffic signs in the car-free area in Ghent. The city had about 1 150 parking ticket machines and 40 traffic signs in the car-free area. Under the four-year contract, all machines of the City of Ghent were cleaned once a year, spread across the year according to a plan to be drawn up. In addition, on request, certain machines or traffic signs could be given an extra cleaning outside the annual maintenance, for example after vandalism. The contract was awarded to Weerwerk for EUR 33 020.
