Summary

Machine-generated summary

The City of Ghent intends to conclude a framework agreement for a collective hospitalisation insurance policy covering approximately 8,700 employees (main insured persons) and 5,500 dependants and pensioners. The policy covers the City of Ghent, OCMW Gent, the Autonomous Municipal Company (AGB) Kunsten en Design, the Autonomous Municipal Company (AGB) Erfgoed and the autonomous care institution AZ Jan Palfijn, all under a single policy. The arrangement also allows retiring main insured persons to continue the hospitalisation insurance at their own expense, becoming dependants, and allows spouses, partners and children meeting certain criteria to join the policy at their own cost as well.
