Water treatment plant Bzenec - repair of sedimentation and filtration pipe systems

Vodovody a kanalizace Hodonín, a.s. awarded a contract for repairing the sedimentation and filtration pipe systems at the water treatment plant in Bzenec. The works were split into three operational units: PS 01 Sedimentation outlet, PS 02 Filtration inlet pipeline and PS 03 Accumulation pipeline. In PS 01, the existing DN 500 mm steel pipe serving as the outlet from the sedimentation basins was replaced with new stainless steel DN 500 mm piping including fittings, 46 m in total. In PS 02, existing DN 500 mm steel pipework was repaired and replaced with new stainless DN 500 mm piping including fittings over 88 m. In PS 03, DN 600 mm steel piping feeding the accumulation tanks beneath the filtration and sedimentation units was replaced with new stainless DN 600 mm piping, 60 m long. The contract was won by MaBara, s.r.o.
