Summary

Machine-generated summary

Kalmar Vatten AB (KVAB) invites suppliers to take part in a forward-looking procurement aimed at developing new solutions for a safe and sustainable drinking water supply. Against the background of future challenges with reduced availability of raw water, KVAB intends to rent a pilot plant for advanced water treatment for a period of two years. The plant will be placed at the newly built Kalmarsundsverket in Kalmar and used to investigate the possibilities of recycling treated wastewater to drinking water quality. The pilot plant shall include several advanced treatment steps, such as ozonation and reverse osmosis. The project is carried out with support from the Swedish Agency for Economic and Regional Growth and Region Kalmar County.

Description

Expected award price

likely award for this notice, from its published estimate of €1,342,907
€429,730 to €1.3M

Comparable awards in this country and sector came in at a median of 100% of their published estimate, half of them between 32% and 100%, based on 28 awards of the last 3 years.

Each award is compared with the estimate of the same lots, framework agreements excluded. A published estimate may include options and renewals, so an award under it is not always a discount.
