Description

Pohjois-Savon mielenterveys - ja päihdesairastavuus on ollut jo useamman vuoden maan korkeinta. Suonensisäisten huumeiden käyttäminen, jota kautta C-hepatiitti tarttuu, on yleistä alueellamme. Pohjois-Savon hyvinvointialueella (PSHVA) on Suomen toiseksi korkein väestömäärään suhteutettu C-hepatiitin ilmaantuvuus. Terveempi Savo - C-hepatiitti hallintaan - hankkeen tavoitteena on vähentää C-hepatiittitartuntoja PSHVA:lla ja edistää taudin eliminointia vuoteen 2030 mennessä Maailman terveysjärjestön (WHO) asettamien tavoitteiden mukaisesti. Hankkeen myötä riskiryhmään kuuluvat henkilöt tavoitetaan paremmin, henkilöitä testataan ja hoidetaan matalalla kynnyksellä enemmän. Vieritestimenetelmälaitteet mahdollistavat tehokkaamman ja nopeamman testaamisen ja hoidon aloittamisen. Esitämme hankittavaksi GeneXpert-laitteet ja tarvikkeet. Hankinta rahoitetaan ulkoisella hankerahoituksella, jonka käyttöön on Sosiaali- ja terveysministeriön lupa.
