The City of Helsinki plans a major renovation of the Rikhardinkatu Library at Rikhardinkatu 3, Helsinki, as a project management contract. The project covers 5,025 gross square metres, including a 505 square metre extension by roofing the inner courtyard as heated interior space. Works include improving accessibility, refurbishing interiors, ecologically sustainable solutions, security improvements and full replacement of building systems with better energy efficiency, respecting the building's historic value. Timeline: design 5/2025 to 1/2026, implementation design and construction procurement 2026 to 1/2027, construction 3/2027 to 12/2028.
