Yhteishankinnan kohteena ovat Yhteishankintayksikkö Velora Oy:n puitejärjestelyssä mukana oleville asiakkaille tarjottavat Microsoft CSP-lisenssit, Nexetic-varmuuskopiointituotteet, Microsoft-asiantuntijapalvelut sekä SSH:n turvallisen viestinnän ratkaisut. Yhteishankinta jaetaan eri osa-alueisiin (OA). Osa-alueisiin voi sisältyä esimerkiksi lisenssit, asiantuntijapalvelut, käyttöönotto-, kehitys- ja muutoshankkeet, palveluiden jatkuva ylläpito sekä koulutuspalvelut. Asiantuntijapalveluiden jaottelussa on hyödynnetty Microsoft Solutions Partner Designation -ohjelman osa-alueita. Hankinta on jaettu seuraaviin osa-alueisiin: OA1: Microsoft CSP-lisenssit ja Nexetic varmuuskopiointi OA2: Microsoft Moderni työ ja tietoturva OA3: Microsoft Azure ja tietoturva OA4: Microsoft liiketoimintasovellukset ja tietoturva OA5: Microsoft SOC ja tietoturva OA6: Turvallinen viestintä Hankinnan tavoitteena on tarjota Veloran asiakkaille korkealaatuisia ja hinnaltaan kilpailukykyisiä lisenssejä ja palveluita. Velora kilpailuttaa ja hallinnoi yhteishankintajärjestelyä. Tilaaja tekee tilaajakohtaisen tilauksen ja vastaa omista tilauksistaan, käyttöönotoistaan sekä niihin liittyvistä kustannuksista, ellei tarjouspyynnössä tai sopimuksessa toisin määrätä. Toimittajan ja Tilaajan välille syntyy tilaajakohtainen sopimussuhde palvelun toimittamista varten. Toimittajan osallistumista ei rajoiteta osa-alueiden välillä, vaan sama Toimittaja voi osallistua ja tulla valituksi useampaan osa-alueeseen.
