Finland - Hydrographic survey services - High security class sea charting surveys

This framework agreement covers the collection of depth data using multibeam echo sounders (possibly also Bathy-LiDAR surveys) in the Gulf of Finland, the Archipelago Sea and the Aland Islands region, together with post-processing of the collected depth data. Data must meet quality requirements set by Traficom based on the international IHO S-44 hydrographic standard. The data falls under security class TLIII 'confidential' under the Act on Regional Surveillance, requiring a valid Facility Security Clearance from the provider's national security authority, and for foreign providers also a General Security Agreement with Finland. Data may not be taken out of Finland without permission. Survey areas range from archipelagos to open sea, with depths from 2.5 m to about 200 m. Annual volumes vary with available funds, and some years may have no orders at all.
