Description

Hankinnankohteena olevaa EV-ICD järjestelmää käytetään ekstravaskulaarisen ICD toimenpiteissä, joissa defibrillaattorin elektrodi viedään verisuonten ulkopuolelle rintalastan taakse substerniaaliseen tilaan. Menetelmä säästää verisuonireitit ja mahdollistaa sekä defibrillaation että ATP tahdistuksen ilman laskimonsisäisiä johtoja. Suorahankinnan perusteena on hankintalain 40 §:n 2 momentin 2 kohta teknisestä tai yksinoikeuden suojaamiseen liittyvästä syystä vain tietty toimittaja voi toteuttaa hankinnan; lisäedellytyksenä on, että järkeviä vaihtoehtoisia tai korvaavia ratkaisuja ei ole eikä kilpailun puuttuminen johdu hankinnan ehtojen keinotekoisesta kaventamisesta. Medtronic Finland Oy:n Aurora EV ICD järjestelmä on ainoa markkinoilla oleva ekstravaskulaarinen ICD järjestelmä, joka mahdollistaa substerniaalisen elektrodin, defibrillaation ja ATP tahdistuksen ilman laskimonsisäisiä johtoja.
