Hankinnan kohteena on PE315 kaasuputken rakennus- ja asennusurakka Tampereen ja Kangasalan välillä. Tarkempi hankinnan kuvaus on esitetty hankinta-asiakirjoissa. Alla tekniset päätiedot hankinnan kohteesta: - Muoviputkilinjan pituus n. 14,5 km - Muoviputken koko PE315 - Muoviputken suunnittelupaine 8 bar - Erityispiirteitä muun muassa: käytössä olevan kaasuputken ja liikennöitävien katujen vaikutus työturvallisuuteen ja työmenetelmiin, rakentaminen ja asentaminen kaupunkiolosuhteissa, rakentaminen ja louhinta voimajohtojen läheisyydessä, tarvittavien johtosiirtojen asennus- ja maanrakennustyöt, maanalaiset risteävät rakenteet, radan ja teiden alitukset Hankintayksikkö toimittaa putkimateriaalit. Muut materiaalit toimittaa urakoitsija. Hankintayksikkö tekee putkilinjan detaljisuunnittelun. Urakoitsija osoitetaan pääurakoitsijaksi, joka vastaa työmaan työn suunnittelusta ja johtamisesta, työmaajärjestelyistä, yhteydenpidosta maanomistajien ja sidosryhmien kanssa. Urakoitsija toimii myös rakennustyömaan päätoteuttajana. Hankinnan kohteena olevan urakan sopimus- ja työmaakieli on suomi.
