Description

The scope of this envisaged framework contract is for the supply of Pellet Sources for JT-60SA and for general fusion applications. The scope of this framework contract will be divided in two lots. The first lot encompasses the development, manufacturing and testing of fuelling sources and the second lot encompasses the development, manufacturing and testing of pacing sources. The scope of the framework contract is for the supply of sources of pellets of ice typically of hydrogen or deuterium. The sources are composed by an extruder with a capacity in the range of 350 mm3/s capacity with an integrated pellet cutter able to produce pellets of a size in the range of 2.4x2.4 mm at a pace of 20 Hz. The sources shall also include all necessary ancillaries and diagnostics. The development will be performed in stages and the scope includes also testing and support to installation and commissioning.
