Serious Violence Duty Funding

The Police, Fire and Crime Commissioner for Northamptonshire, on behalf of the Northamptonshire Serious Violence Prevention Partnership, awarded funding contracts for serious violence interventions across Northamptonshire. The contracts cover primary prevention projects under the Public Health model of violence prevention, relating to six crime types set out in the funding pack. The contracts were awarded on 2026-09-08 to Athletic Elite LTD, Delapre Abbey Preservation Trust, Free 2 Talk Community Interest Company, Northampton Saints Foundation and The Compound Wellingborough CIC. The funding period runs from 01/10/2026 to 30/09/2027, with bids considered for values of up to 140000 pounds excluding VAT. Extension beyond the initial term is possible but not guaranteed, as it depends on Home Office funding decisions.
