A Swiss municipality in the canton of Aargau is procuring full outsourcing of its IT system. This covers operation, support and maintenance of 17 clients, five network multifunction printers and about 50 standard and specialist applications, including the GEVER GemoWin document system and department-specific software, hosted in a data centre. Fifteen notebooks and two fat clients of the administration are replaced under a rental model, while the five convertibles of the municipal council remain BYOD. The contractor ensures stable operation, system availability, data security, monitoring and updates, operates M365, runs sector-specific core software (EWK, finance, fees, payroll), integrates SaaS solutions such as KLIBnet, time recording, provides first to third level support, largely replaces LAN and WLAN components, optionally replaces clients, monitors and notebooks by purchase, and performs delivery, installation and turnkey commissioning with data migration from the current W&W system. BYOD access uses two-factor authentication.
