Switzerland - Architectural, engineering and technical services - NKM - General Planner (GP) Track Renewals 2029-2033 framework contract, Switzerland

SBB (Swiss Federal Railways) is procuring a framework contract for general planning services for track renewals in Switzerland. SBB renews 150 to 200 kilometres of track infrastructure annually, part of which is planned internally and part outsourced through multi-year mandates. This framework contract covers around 20 km of track renewals per year, including switches and related technical disciplines, for the execution years 2029 to 2033, with planning work from 2027. The contractor acts as general planner for SIA phases 3 to 5, covering overall management and coordination plus specialist planning for track, traction current, cables and track civil engineering. 20 to 30% of the portfolio will use BIM methodology. The work is distributed across German-speaking Switzerland (65%), French-speaking Switzerland (25%) and Italian-speaking Switzerland (10%).
