Investiția publică „ Regenerarea unor zone degradate și a unor spații verzi din UAT MUNICIPIUL TURDA - PARC TINERETULUI ”, are ca obiectiv general “Regenerarea unoi zone degradate și a unor spații verzi din municipiul Turda, prin crearea unui parc urban public”, ce vizează îmbunătățirea factorilor de mediu din perspectiva utilizării zonei din punct de vedere social, cu respectarea reglementărilor de mediu în vigoare.Prin realizarea obiectivului de investitii, beneficiarul doreste să-și dezvolte nucleul urban îmbunătățind condițiile de viată din municipiul Turda prin reabilitarea Parcului Tineretului, mărind zonele de spații verzi, pentru a oferi locuitorilor municipiului condiții de petrecere a timpului liber, la standarde europene. Prin acest proiect, prin propunerea peisageră, se dorește creșterea suprafețelor verzi din municipiul Turda. Prin implementarea acestui proiect se va asigura gospodărirea eficientă şi folosirea spaţiilor urbane într-un mod inteligent şi creativ, prin conservarea caracterului şi identităţii locului, revitalizarea durabilă, contribuind la dezvoltarea şi atractivitatea zonelor urbane şi la creşterea calităţii vieţii. Prin implementarea acestui proiect se va asigura dezvoltarea nucleului urban îmbunătățind condițiile de viată din municipiul Turda prin reabilitarea Parcului Tineretului, mărind zonele de spații verzi, pentru a oferi locuitorilor municipiului condiții de petrecere a timpului liber, la standarde europene, contribuind la dezvoltarea şi atractivitatea zonelor urbane şi la creşterea calităţii vieţii. Prin implementarea acestui proiect se va asigura de asemenea si:  Pentru populaţia locala o astfel de amenajare completează gama urbană, având ca rezultat o creştere a calităţii vieţii locale, implicit şi regionale, întărind identitatea şi mândria.  Creşterea numărului de atracţii locale prin care să crească timpul de şedere al vizitatorilor în Turda, cu efect pozitiv asupra registrului economic local.  conservarea, protecţia şi valorificarea durabilă şi competitivă a patrimoniului cultural şi istoric şi dezvoltarea serviciilor culturale, inclusiv asigurarea şi/sau îmbunătăţirea accesului către resursele şi obiectivele de patrimoniu,  îmbunătăţirea infrastructurii de turism, în special în zone care dispun de un potenţial turistic valoros, inclusiv îmbunătăţirea accesului către resursele şi obiectivele turistice  Dezvoltarea infrastructurii pentru turismul balnear şi balneoclimatic, inclusiv îmbunătăţirea accesului către resursele şi obiectivele turistice,  Regenerare urbană şi securitatea spaţiilor publice
