Obiectivul general al proiectului este în corespondență cu obiectul Programului de finanțare și vizează în mod specific modernizarea sistemului de iluminat public prin înlocuirea corpurilor de iluminat public existente având un consum ridicat de energie electrică cu corpuri de iluminat cu surse LED, prin completarea sistemului de iluminat public existent cu corpuri de iluminat cu surse LED în situațiile în care stâlpii de pe tronsonul respectiv nu sunt echipați cu corpuri de iluminat, și prin achiziționarea și instalarea sistemului de telegestiune. Vor fi schimbate/montate pe stâlpi existenți corpurile de iluminat public învechite, având consum mare de energie cu corpuri noi care au consum redus de energie și cu posibilitate de integrare în sistemul de telegestiune existent. Amplasarea corpurilor de iluminat public se vor realiza pe raza teritoriului UAT a municipiului Miercurea-Ciuc, preconizat pe următoarele străzi: str. Apor Peter, str. Ariei, str. Avantului, str. Baile Jigodin, str. Bailor, str. Berzei, str. Bolyai Janos, str. Bradului, str. Brasovului, str. Campul Mare, str. Campul Mic, str. Carierei, str. Ciba, str. Ciocarliei, str. Corbului, str. Dr. Denes Laszlo, str. Eroilor, str. Fabricii, str. Ferencesek, str. Fodorkert, str. Fratiei, str. Gabor Aron, str. Gal Sandor, str. Ghioceilor, str. Gradinarilor, str. Graului, str. Gyujto, str.
