Motofierăstraiele sunt utilizate în procesul de producţie în cadrul formaţiilor de exploatare, în activitatea de întreţinere drumuri forestiere, în activitatea de prevenire şi stingere a incendiilor precum şi în activităţile conexe acestora. Motouneltele, motostropitorile şi motoprăşitorile sunt utilizate în activităţile de pepiniere silvice, în combaterea bolilor şi dăunătorilor atât în pepiniere cât şi în fondul forestier administrat. Achiziţionarea de piese de schimb, consumabile si servicii de intreţinere şi reparare pentru motofierăstraiele precum şi pentru celelalte motounelte, motostropitori şi motoprăşitori din dotarea D.S. Suceava este necesară în vederea menţinerii unei stări tehnice corespunzătoare a acestora în scopul utilizării şi exploatării lor în condiţii de maximă eficienţă şi siguranţă în activitatea de producţie. conform caiet de sarcini
