Prosjektet omfatter rehabiliteringsarbeider av Christian Michelsens gate 57-61 for Boligbygg Oslo KF, og skal gjennomføres som en totalentreprise etter NS 8407. Tiltaket gjelder i hovedsak utskifting av vinduer og balkongdører, taknedløp, eksisterende radiatoranlegg med tilhørende rørføringer, oppussing av trapperom, lokale fasade- og betongreparasjoner, samt etterisolering av loft. Det inngår også nødvendige rive-, sanerings- og følgearbeider. Prosjektet innebærer dessuten forhold knyttet til asbest, beboerhåndtering og arbeider i hovedrømningsvei. Byggene er oppført i 1936 og består av fire boligetasjer, loft og underetasje/kjeller. Eiendommen omfatter totalt 10 oppganger fordelt på adressene 57 a-d, 59 a-c og 61 a-c. Byggene har teglfasader, delvis pussede partier ved trapperom og fasadesokkel av naturstein. Alle byggene står på Byantikvarens gule liste og inngår i Verneplan for Boligbygg. Dette innebærer at løsninger som påvirker fasade og tak skal ivareta antikvariske hensyn og godkjennes av byggherre og vernemyndighet. Formålet med prosjektet oppsummeres til: * Økt energieffektivitet (nye vinduer og etterisolere loft) * Fornyet teknisk infrastruktur (varme og ventilasjon) * Bedre bokvalitet og visuell oppgradering (rehabilitering av fasade og fellesarealer)
