Provision of replacement Industrial & Commercial Customer Metering Equipment in connection with a Gas Distribution Network '27

Phoenix is launching a meter replacement programme for industrial and commercial gas meter installations and will appoint supplier(s) to provide rotary positive displacement (RPD) and/or turbine meters. The initial contract runs for four consecutive calendar years (2027 to 2031), with an optional four-year extension at Phoenix's discretion. Approximately 205 meters are expected in the initial period, around 197 RPD and 8 turbine meters, with roughly 86 RPD and 13 turbine meters estimated for any extension. RPD meters must cover flows of 65 to 400 m3/hr (G40 to G250) and turbine meters 650 to 4000 m3/hr (G400 to G2500). Meters must be approved under the Measuring Instruments Directive (2014/32/EU), comply with the Pressure Equipment Directive (2014/68/EU), suit Zone 1 hazardous areas under ATEX (2014/34/EU), register gas in cubic metres, and be delivered to the Greater Belfast area of Northern Ireland.
