Provision of Books and Reading Materials for Secondary School

As part of the National Year of Reading, the Department for Education is providing funding to eligible secondary schools in England to purchase books and reading materials to encourage reading for pleasure and support literacy outcomes. The contract was awarded to A T Little & Sons Ltd T/A Browns Books for the provision of books, reading materials and associated services, including an online ordering platform, order fulfilment, delivery, spend management and management information reporting. The awarded value is EUR 5,837,370.85, the same as the estimate. The award followed a further competition under the SUPC Framework Agreement LIB4061SU, Lot 1, with a bid deadline of 2026-07-31 and an award date of 2026-08-20.
