Leases of temporary accommodation
Rent is then charged to licensees at the Local Housing Allowance (LHA) rate which is claimed back by the household through the Housing Benefits system where the person is eligible. As rents are set at LHA, they remain affordable to households who do not qualify for housing benefit.
