The buyer, Sprava silnic Moravskoslezskeho kraje, awarded a public works contract for the reconstruction of bridge no. 44520-3 on road III/44520 Vrbno - Zelezna, damaged by the September 2024 floods. The works included levelling the terrain between the existing reinforced concrete piles and underpinning the existing bridge abutment with a new reinforced concrete abutment on its own foundation, supported on micropiles drilled between the existing piles. The contract was won by M A K O S a.s. for about EUR 433,522.66, converted from CZK at the ECB reference rate. The award date was 2026-09-03, and the awarded price was 2% below the estimate.
