The Pensionsversicherungsanstalt (Austrian Pension Insurance Fund) awarded general planner services for the preliminary design phase of an extension of its Rehabilitation Centre St. Radegund in Styria. The project will add capacity for around 100 beds. The contract went to ARGE Generalplanung SRR (Univ.-Prof. Arch. DI Dr. techn. Hansjörg Tschom UND integral ZT GmbH) for EUR 703,193. Preliminary design is expected to start around September/October 2026. The tender procedure for the construction works is planned for 2027, with the works to be carried out in 2028/2029. The new bed wing is scheduled to open in 2029.
