Five municipalities in Norway, namely Bergen, Askøy, Tromsø, Voss herad and Kvam herad, intend to establish new contracts for safety alarms and safety packages through a framework agreement. The procurement covers equipment that meets the municipalities' requirements for quality, functionality, user friendliness, operation and management, as well as statutory requirements for privacy and information security. The technology must support increased safety, mastering and activity for individual users, allowing both active alarm triggering for users of any function level and passive triggering for those who need it. It should enable users to master as much as possible themselves, with assistance from relatives, and serve a wide range of user groups.
