Summary

Machine-generated summary

The Norwegian Coastal Administration is procuring a framework agreement for diesel generators used at lighthouse stations. Around 77 fuel stations use diesel generators as backup for grid installations or solar panels, with an average of 2 generators per lighthouse, roughly 150 units in total. All units serve 230 V IT networks, mainly in the 15-25 kVA range, mostly 15-19 kVA. Three stations operate around the clock, while the rest run as needed. Generators must allow at least 3 months between services, and air-cooled engines with belt-driven water pumps, with 2 and 3 cylinders, have worked best. A small number of water-cooled engines serve as backup where grid installations are stable.
