Norway - Construction work - Design and build contract E39 Lyngdal - Blørstad

Nye Veier in Norway is procuring a design and build contract for the new E39 road between Blørstad and Lyngdal. The work covers around 16 km of four-lane road, large cuttings and fillings, several structures including a bridge over Audna and the Eikeråshei tunnel, plus completion of intersections at Blørstad and Herdal. The contract follows NS 8407:2011 with a fixed price and includes an initial optimisation phase. Construction is expected to start in 2027 with a project period of about 4.5 years. The value includes options. This may be a negotiated procedure, and tenderers submitting valid but unsuccessful tenders may receive NOK 7.5 million excluding VAT in compensation. Tenders above the budget limit may be rejected.
