3. Sterile glass vacuum ESR tubes shall have a constant vacuum capable of drawing 1.3 mL ±5% of blood and shall ensure an anticoagulant-to-blood ratio of 1:4. The tubes shall contain 3.2% buffered sodium citrate (Na-citrate) and shall be equipped with a rubber stopper that can be easily penetrated by a needle. 12 months
