De gemeente Almere heeft een wagenpark van ongeveer 45 zware vrachtwagens boven de 12.000kg. De aantallen en diversiteit van de voertuigen sluiten momenteel aan in de totale behoefte van de verschillende afdelingen en past binnen de bedrijfsvoering van het wagenpark beheer. Door veranderingen in de wetgeving en maatschappelijke ontwikkelingen op het gebied van Zero Emissie moet de opdrachtgever overgaan naar een andere vorm van inzameling huishoudelijk afval. De totale opdrachtwaarde is geraamd ad. €2.000.000, 00 met een initiële looptijd van 8 jaar. Deze raming is samengesteld a.d.h.v. verwachte aanschafprijs en instandhoudingskosten.
