De resultaten van dit onderzoek dienen ertoe om de functie van beekmondingen als schakel tussen de haarvaten (beken in het achterland) en de slagaders (de grote rivieren) van het watersysteem te versterken. Tevens zullen de risico’s en dilemma’s die spelen bij beekmondingherstel beter in beeld worden gebracht, zodat er beter rekening mee kan worden gehouden. Denk bijvoorbeeld aan hydrologie, waterkwaliteit en invasieve exoten. Dit moet leiden tot praktische oplossingen vanuit de resultaten van het onderzoek. Voor het onderzoek is in totaal € 295.000,- incl. btw (€ 243.801,65 excl. btw) beschikbaar. De onderstaande verdeling van het budget over de verschillende onderdelen is bedoeld als een richtlijn. Inschrijvers kunnen, mits goed onderbouwd, ervoor kiezen om andere accenten te leggen. € 50.000 bureaustudie € 15.000 uitvoeren interviews € 180.000 veldonderzoek € 50.000 opstellen typologie, factsheets en rapportage Er is geen percelen indeling.
