De gemeente Land van Cuijk hecht veel belang aan haar cultureel erfgoed. Erfgoed draagt bij aan de ruimtelijke kwaliteit en vertelt ons over de geschiedenis en het ontstaan van de gemeente. De gemeenteraad en het college van de gemeente Land van Cuijk vinden het belangrijk om de identiteit en ruimtelijke kwaliteit te behouden. Op 6 april 2023 heeft de gemeenteraad om deze reden het ‘Beleidsplan Erfgoed gemeente Land van Cuijk 2023-2027 - Bewaren, Beleven en Verbinden’ vastgesteld. Hierin staat omschreven dat de lijst van beschermd erfgoed in de gemeente wordt aangevuld met o.a. nieuwe gemeentelijke monumenten. Om nieuw beschermd gebouwd erfgoed aan te kunnen wijzen dienen er cultuurhistorische onderzoeken te worden opgesteld. Hiervoor zal met een specialistisch bureau een raamcontract worden aangegaan. €0
