Description

In het TSG zal het Zorginstituut, in samenwerking met betrokken partijen, voor elk nieuw geneesmiddel op basis van een risicoduiding bekijken of een beoordeling nodig is, wat voor beoordeling dat moet zijn en wie deze uitvoert. Deze samenwerking moet ondersteund worden met behulp van een informatiemanagementsysteem (IMS). Door informatie op één plek te verzamelen waar de verschillende partijen toegang tot hebben, kan het risicogericht werken worden uitgevoerd en wordt communicatie hierover ondersteund, zoals beschreven in het TSG. De informatie voor het risicogericht werken wordt verzameld vanuit de Horizonscan en mogelijk andere bronnen. In eerste instantie moet het IMS het nieuwe instroomproces volgens TSG praktisch uitvoerbaar maken, deze wetgeving gaat in per 1 januari 2028. In de doorontwikkelfase kan verdere ondersteuning van de huidige situatie van het geneesmiddelbeoordelingsproces (organisatorische, procesmatige, gegevens en functionele context) evenals nog uit te werken elementen, in het IMS.
