Machine-generated summary

The Province of Groningen awarded a contract for landscape-ecological system analyses (LESA) and related hydrological and landscape-ecological research. The work combined desk study with field research across hydrology, soil and ecology, identified problems for nature and possible recovery measures, and excluded modelling, effect studies and carrying out recovery measures. The contract was split into 3 lots covering the Zuidlaardermeer area, the Drentsche Aa area and the Westerwolde area near Sellingen and Bourtangerveld. It was awarded on 28 October 2025 to Arcadis Nederland B.V., Ecogroen B.V. and ATKB B.V. for EUR 932,170, 64% above the estimated EUR 570,000. The framework agreements start on 1 January 2026, run for 36 months and return to the market on 31 December 2028.
