Momenteel maakt de TU Delft gebruik van TOPdesk als Servicemanagement systeem en als Facilitair Management Informatie Systeem (FMIS). De TU Delft staat aan de vooravond van een Europese aanbesteding in verband met het aflopen van het contract met TOPdesk. In de voorbereiding van de aanbesteding is gebleken dat de keuze voor één systeem voor de FMIS-, ITIL- en ESM-functionaliteit niet optimaal is en niet kan voldoen aan alle eisen en wensen van de TU Delft. Vanwege deze reden heeft de TU Delft een Europese aanbesteding voor een FMIS-oplossing gepubliceerd. De TU Delft is voornemens een aparte ESM-oplossing inclusief ITIL-functionaliteit aan te besteden, waarbij de integratie met de FMIS-oplossing een cruciaal onderdeel is. Deze marktconsultatie richt zich uitsluitend op Enterprise Service Management en dient als een belangrijke voorbereidende stap om ervoor te zorgen dat de TU Delft de juiste keuzes maakt om een succesvolle ESM-aanbesteding in de markt te zetten.
