Algemene informatie De Universiteit Maastricht (UM) staat in binnen- en buitenland bekend om haar unieke onderwijssysteem: het probleemgestuurde onderwijs (PGO). Bovendien profileert de UM zich door de sterk internationale oriëntatie. Een toenemend aantal studenten uit zowel heel Nederland als ook het buitenland kiest voor het Maastrichtse systeem. De UM is de jongste universiteit van Nederland en groeit snel. Er zijn momenteel ongeveer 20.000 studenten en 5.000 medewerkers. Onderwijs en onderzoek van de UM is voornamelijk georganiseerd op basis van faculteiten en schools. Meer informatie over de UM is te vinden op de internetsite www.maastrichtuniversity.nl. Aanleiding van de Tender Universiteit Maastricht is van plan het pand gelegen aan Duboisdomein 30 (DUB30) te Maastricht te voorzien van een thermische schil.
